Release date: November 22nd , 2005
Other models: Xbox 360 S, Xbox 360 E
Released in November of 2005, the Xbox 360 was the second line of consoles to be sold by Microsoft. It initially launched with numerous issues with hardware failure and egregiously high Xbox Live subscription prices, which set it back from its other competitors. The console went through three redesign phases, each having a slimmer design, improved motherboards, and faster processors. Additionally, the Xbox 360 supported the Kinect, which was a unique feature that allowed players to use motion-tracking to play video games.
Developed by Good Science Studios, Kinect Adventures! was the best selling game of the Xbox 360, being bundled with the Kinect.
