The Xbox One was released in November of 2013 by Microsoft, being the third generation in the console lineup. It bolstered an even faster processing unit, with the unique ability to adjust the speed of its cooling fans based on the motherboard’s temperature. The Xbox One was also capable of backwards compatibility with Xbox original and Xbox 360 games, a feature the PlayStation 4 did not have. Future redesigns of the console would become more powerful and support extra add-ons such as a Blu-ray disk driver, and 4k video.
Grand Theft Auto 5, which was developed by Rockstar North, was Xbox One’s most sold video game.
